Boca Raton is a cosmopolitan city, yet it conveys the warmth and friendliness of a small town, comparable to the charm of Carmel and the Hamptons. The city has been developed through well thought-out master plans with strict zoning codes and architectural and landscape standards. As a result it has become one of the most desirable places to live as a year round resident or as a vacation home. It has a sophisticated upscale ambiance that has attracted many international visitors.
East Boca
Raton
The late 1950's were a time of major development and
growth for Boca Raton, premier waterfront locations
were cherry-picked for exclusive single family homes
and condominiums. Today there are very few vacant
lots left in these areas. Many of the homes and condos
have undergone large-scale renovations to update decor
and appeal. This section provides a description of
East Boca Raton with a sampling of communities. This
area is located from the ocean to approximately I-95.

Central
Boca Raton
Boca Raton's central
and western communities have mushroomed with country
club communities providing golf course and tennis
facilities, another major reason people move to Florida.
This section provides a description of Central Boca
and some of its communities. This area is located
between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.
West Boca
Raton
Land use plans provided for lower density developments
and have made generous use of lakes and park areas.
Several communities offer estate homes on large oversized
lots of 1-10 acres. This area is located west of the
Florida Turnpike.
New Home Construction
I have included descriptions of some of the new home
communities and have developed a database of information
and brochures on these new construction projects.
The developments will cooperate with realtors on sales,
but only if the agent accompanies on the initial
visit and registration. I also have information on
the many new custom homes being developed throughout
Boca - on the waterfront and in the country clubs
- as well as vacant parcels available for new construction.
If you see any properties advertised, or are interested
on any properties mentioned in my summaries, I can
provide information and would be happy to work with
you.
Home styles range from affordable to the multi-millions. There are upscale waterfront communities and oceanfront mansions, gated country club and estate communities with a wide range of lifestyle options, and there are quiet little neighborhoods. There are condos, townhomes and villas, zero-lot line homes, coach and courtyard homes, and conventional single family.
Housing everywhere is designed to show off the beautiful South Florida scenery and lush tropical landscaping. Homes are oriented to outdoor living featuring covered patios and pools, and cozy courtyards. Interior appointments include skylights, panoramic and clerestory windows, ceramic tile and marble entries, breakfast nooks and gourmet kitchens, vaulted ceilings and plant shelves.
And Addison Mizner's Mediterranian influenced architecture
is prevalent in homes throughout the city. When he
came to Palm Beach in the 1920's, he envisioned a
style that led to a revival of Mediterranian architecture
- an adaptation of Spanish architecture to Florida's
balmy climate that has become the distinctive "Palm
Beach Look." Barrel tile roofs, airy loggias, turret
towers and the natural integration of indoor/outdoor
living became Mizner trademarks.
