They offer a more moderate alternative to single family
waterfront living, with gorgeous views of ocean and
city, ease of maintenance and a more viable alternative
for the second home buyer. They also began their development
in the 1960's. Most of them line the oceanfront in
Boca Raton, and in Highland Beach north of Spanish
River Blvd., fronting both the ocean and intracoastal.
Floor plans generally range from 1 to 3 bedroom units
with some larger penthouses, offered as furnished
or unfurnished, and prices ranging from $150,000,
with some exceeding $2 million.
