South Florida Real Estate Guide to Buying and Selling Your Home

Palm Beach County Area Attractions

Visitors to the Palm Beaches have a wide range of choices when staying in our area. With more than 15,000 hotel and motel rooms throughout the county, visitors can choose accommodations ranging from the modest to magnificent. The areas have several chain hotels like Marriott Hotel (luxury hotels, courtyards and residence inns), the suite hotels like Embassy Suites, DoubleTree Guest Suite Hotels, and Radisson Suite Hotel, Holiday Inn, Sheraton, Hampton Inn and Hilton.

A variety of hotels cater to family vacations, the business traveler and conferences, and romantic getaways. There are backfiring hotels, hotels clustered around the I-95 interchanges of the major cities, downtown areas, Palm Beach International Airport and also in some of the major golf course communities. Most of the hotels provide shuttle services, tour arrangements, baby-sitting services and recreational facilities including golf, tennis, boating, swimming and more. Some of the county's outstanding luxury hotels are the Boca Raton Resort & Club, The Ritz Carlton in Manalapan, and the Breakers in West Palm Beach.
Palm Beach County hotel rates reflect two seasons:
  1. The season - (the winter season) runs from late October to mid-April. Thousands of visitors from international countries and northern states come to Florida for vacation, business travel or to attend business conferences and conventions.
  2. Off-peak rates - for accommodations are available from mid-April through October - during which time hotels generally provide the lowest rates and offer special packages.
Boca Raton

Some of the hotels in the Boca Raton area are the Boca Raton Resort & Club, along with the Beach Club Hotel situated directly on the ocean, and the Radisson Bridge Hotel on the intracoastal. Several hotels in the central area around I-95 are the Boca Raton Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott, the Boca Raton Sheraton Hotel and Holiday Inn Highland Beach, the Radisson Suite Hotel and Embassy Suites Hotel.
